Pricing is based on off-season rates and includes bed and breakfast with all amenities, spa activities, and lots of added perks! We have an itinerary already prepared, and includes some of the following activities:

Tifferet's Shabbaton Package

Bed and breakfast lodging just across from Beth Jacob. Unwind after arriving; take in the luxury of our modern, cathedral chalet and your beautiful suite!

Kabbalat Shabbat

With the lighting of our lovely Shabbat candles, we will welcome in the 'Shabbat Bride', recite Brachot (blessings), sing smirot (songs), while enjoying challah honoured by being draped with a beautiful, white lace challah cover.

• For Shabbat dinner, our Kosher entrees are your choice -- let us know two weeks in advance whether you choose traditional meat entrees, pre-sealed kosher platters or various courses of delicious vegetarian dishes. We keep a kosher kitchen while adhering to rules of Kashrut. Here is a sample of a five-course dinner:
  • Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian: Crudites, Matza Ball Soup with Vegetarian Broth, Four-cheese Ravioli with Tomato/Onion Sauce, Nutritional Yeast Sprinkle, Wild Rice, Almond and Vegetable Pilaf, Shlomit's Exotic Salad and Balsamic Dressing a la Shlomit; Fresh Fruit Salad
  • Vegan, we substitute couscous and shelled hemp seeds in place of the cheese ravioli. Note: When Beth Jacob invites us for alternative services and a scheduled Shabbat dinner, we will make reservations for you.

Shabbat Morning
Wake up surrounded in tifferet (grace, beauty and harmony) to enjoy a kosher dairy breakfast. We prepare our hot gourmet breakfast entrees before Shabbat and heat them in our warming oven on Shabbat morning. Our menu may include Gourmet fluffy eggs smothered with lox, Spanish omelette and Mexican corn bread, Italian frittata, veggie breakfast patties, gently browned kreplach or home sautéed potatoes ‘au poivron rouge’”. What’s more, we think our bagels, lox and cream cheese are the best in the diaspora.

Shacharit
Take just a few steps across the street to Beth Jacob Synagogue for Shacharit (Shabbat morning services) led by Rabbi Mark Biller, after which you might enjoy a Kiddush lunch or sometimes an enhanced luncheon.

Shabbat Afternoon
Relax in one of our beautiful cozy suites with special treats, enjoy a cup of afternoon tea in your own dinette or a cup of coffee or hot chocolate in the café lounge before retiring. Draw hot water from our urn which we boiled before the beginning of Shabbat. You may warm something in our kashered oven which will have been turned on to 200 degrees before candlelighting time and kept on for the period of Shabbat. Attend one of Rabbi Biller's schmoozing, studying sessions between 3 and 5 pm on Shabbat afternoon.

Havdalah
Saturday evening after Havdalah, start the week off right by soaking in a whirlpool tub which is stocked for you with delightful toiletries and useful utilities. Then experience our dry sauna for an invigorating warmth. Shavua Tov (Gute Woch' - Have a good week!)

A Touch of Klez
What could be more pleasant after a beautifully restful Shabbat than the music of "A Touch of Klez", while we listen from the comfort of our cream leather couches?! Then, Laila Tov (Goodnight).

Shacharit Services
Shacharit services are available at Beth Jacob also on Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. In fact, you would have the honour of joining us as our Minyan-aires and possibly be the recipient of other ritual honours by Matt!

Sunday Morning Brunch
Unhurriedly, your Shabbaton culminates with a 10:00 am Sunday brunch, for which you may select more gourmet courses. Menu sample: Country Style Quiche with Rosemary Potato Wedges, Poached Atlantic Salmon or Rainbow Trout Fillet over Chunky Greens with Pink Grapefruit Vinaigrette.

Pricing and Deposit
All of this and more starting at only $340.00 CAD for two persons for the whole week-end. Rates depend on your choice of suite.
For a firm booking, we request a deposit of $75.00 which will hold your suite as a firm booking. Packages are designed to suit adults and children.


As always, pets are welcome in our Pet B&B. We'll care for your pets while you're out or leave them at home if we're all out. Api and Chico are friendly and love all our guests. They understand if someone prefers time out.

Check-in is at 5 p.m., check-out, 11 a.m. and breakfast, 8 a.m. daily, except Sunday, when brunch is at 10 a.m. and check-out is at your leisure about 12 or 1:00 pm.
